Scrolling through the posts tagged with LSD really pisses me off, for a couple reasons. I see all these people who are either uneducated on it and think it will cause schizophrenia and drain your spinal fluid, or I see these kids who think it’s just some fun toy so you can trip out and see things.
Does no one else understand how much more there is to this substance? The way it opens up the door to your subconscious and let’s you see things for how they truly are? How it let’s you break down the barriers of yourself, your ego, and everything around you?
Sure, the visuals are a bonus, a nice treat. But the real trip is in the thought process. Allowing you to process and play out entire conversations, movies, thoughts, theories, all within seconds in your head, granting you instant clarity and understanding.
Honestly, if it weren’t for LSD I wouldn’t be alive right now. Before I dropped acid I had no idea who I was. I was depressed. I was suicidal every moment of each day. I had no idea how to put my life back on track after everything I had gone through. Suddenly after a night of tripping I knew what needed to be done, and it led me to where I am now. I still have a lot of things to work on and fix in order to be truly happy, but no longer do I yearn for that beautiful, blissfully quiet, end.
So stop being so ignorant and foolish, kids. Do some research, educate yourself on the beautiful problem child of Albert Hofmann. There’s so much more to it than just, “Woah dude, I have hands.”
End rant
